Sometimes you just don't feel it...
Life happens, you get sick, work gets out of control, emergencies happen, it’s all part of the process.
You just want to sit there, watch tv, and do a whole lotta nothing. How to combat this? Give yourself some time to do your “nothing”, then get up and do what needs to be done. Not being in the mood to work out is nothing to get upset about or beat yourself up over.
That just means maybe your body is telling you to focus elsewhere.
Turn your attention to being there for family, focusing on nutrition, try new recipes, spend time outside, focus on things you enjoy doing that don’t involve working out. Structure your day differently so things get done but you still get to have your lazy time. Everyone has less than productive days and it’s ok. Then find different ways to get active by finding things that interest you.
Don’t stress about it or punish yourself, just accept it, change your routine, and get done what needs to be done.
Life happens and we aren’t always as productive as we anticipated, deal with it and move on to the next thing! Once your over the hump you’ll be back in the gym lifting those weights again and you’ll feel better than ever!
